Minggu Bahasa Zon Utara 2011

   

Congratulation to MRSM Langkawi contingent who had participated in Minggu Bahasa Zon Utara 2011 which was held from April 16 to April 19, 2011. They have won't the Lower Form Category and 2nd runner-up in Upper Form category. Congratulation too to all teachers from the language department that have given all out in training. As for Izzudin and Farihah...you are the best. I believe that your guidance during the competition that has boost the students self confidence and motivation to give their very best. As for the result throughout the competition from April 16 to April 19, here goes..

11. Best Actress Drama - Norshahira Zetty

Pertandingan Bola Jaring MSSD Langkawi 2011

Minggu yang sangat sibuk dengan pelbagai pertandingan sukan peringkat MSSD. Pertandingan Bola Jaring dibawah penyeliaan cikgu Maslynda telah menjadi JOHAN peringkat umur bawah 18 tahun dan tempat ke TIGA bagi kategori bawah 15 tahun....cemerlang gitu! Walaupun student terpaksa menangguhkan peperiksaan selaras tapi hasilnya amat berbaloi. So congratulation to all the Netball team members...we can always beat the rest!!

Under 18 - Nurhanani , Farah Dini, Fatin Nazifa, Ainun Masyitah, Siti Mardiah, Dina Shafreena, Reana, Ellis Nusara,Nur Syuhada, Nurdayana, Aina Nadhirah dan Nurul Shifaa - GOLD!

Under 15 - Nor Asyikin, Farah Haikal, Farah Nathasya, Siti Nur Syuhadah, Nik Amanie, Aziyatul Azni, Nor Fatin Amanina, Nur Adani Madihah, Noura Afeeqah, Nadzartul Naimah dan Asilah - BRONZE!

 


p/s - if i'm not mistaken, Pak Syed yang coach bebudak ni. Kalau camni..lain tahun suruh pak syed coach semua acara...pasti JOHAN!! hehehe...

Pertandingan Tenis MSSD Langkawi 2011

Acara yang sentiasa membawa kejayaan kepada MRSM Langkawi. Sebab...Pak Syed and Mr. Zafri yang jadi coach..hehe. So untuk tahun ini, pertandingan telah berlangsung dari 12 hingga 14 April 2011 bertempat di Kompleks Sukan LADA, Langkawi. Siapa wira dan wirawatinya...zussssss!

Pertandingan Badminton MSSD Langkawi 2011

Pertandingan telah diadakan pada 14 April 2011 bertempat di Dewan Pandak Mayah, SMK Mahsuri, Langkawi. Pertandingan kali ini hanya melibatkan acara bergu sahaja dan MRSM telah menghantar 16 peserta untuk bertanding dalam kategori bawah 15 dan bawah 18 tahun.

Al-Fatihah...

Semalam satu berita sedih telah disampaikan oleh Pak Hassan (HEP Pengkalan Hulu). Bekas guru MRSM Langkawi, Cikgu Afizan bin Arsat telah kembali ke Rahmatullah akibat serangan jantung. Arwah meninggalkan seorang balu dan 4 orang anak. Beliau merupakan guru KH yang berkhidmat di MRSM Langkawi bermula 2001 hingga 2004(if i'm not mistaken) dan kemudian dipindahkan ke MRSM Mersing.
Mengingatkan saya dengan pemergian arwah ustaz Yusri pada 04/03/02. Sangat terasa dengan kehilangan mereka. Semoga roh mereka dicucuri rahmat dan ditempatkan bersama orang2 yang beriman.

Super MRSM Zon Utara - Lower Form (update)

Super MRSM Zon Utara for lower form were held from March 31 till April 3, 2011 at MRSM Kubang Pasu. Below is the result for MRSM Langkawi 
             
                1 Gold    -  Tennis Double (M)
                5 Bronze -  1. Volleyball (M)
                                  2. Volleyball (F)
                                  3. Badminton (Mixed)
                                  4. Table Tennis (Mixed)
                                  5. Football

Overall MRSM Langkawi managed to grab the 3rd spot after MRSM Beseri and MRSM Kubang Pasu. Congratulation to all. Next year we will come back with much stronger contingent for KEJORA

Super Menengah Rendah 2010

Hari ni dapat berita tak rasmi dari Ckg. Firdawos (fb aje) tentang Super Zon Utara Menengah Rendah 2010. MRSM Langkawi dapat tempat ke-3 keseluruhan. Menang 5 Gangsa dan 1 emas. Tahniah kepada Tenis sebab dapat emas. Begitu jugak kepada yang dapat gangsa...tapi takde maklumat lengkap. Will update later.

Culture Nite is back...

April is not really Fool at all...at least for some people. For maresmawian...tonite is the nite most of them been waiting. This evening while i was resting after being beaten by Pak Bakar and Nik (Badminton game of course!)...few students were practicing their traditional dance routine..seem like 'tarian buluh' to me as i'm not sure what they call it. Typical maresmawian i would say...hehe. When it comes to activities other than academic...they will give it all out. Well...they should!
At first i thought i wanna bring my kids to the culture nite but i have this bad feeling about the weather. It has been raining for the past few days and it does effect my mode tonite. So i will bring more about the culture nite when i get all the information i need later on. As for now...nite2
